PMMA reagiert besonders kritisch auf W\u00e4rmeeintrag: Durch seinen niedrigen Schmelzpunkt f\u00fchrt zu viel Hitze schnell zum Schmelzen, Schmieren oder zu Rissen im Material. PC ist deutlich z\u00e4her und w\u00e4rmebest\u00e4ndiger, verformt sich bei der Bearbeitung aber eher, als dass es sauber spaltet \u2013 das erfordert scharfe Werkzeuge und angepasste Schnittparameter.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Faserverst\u00e4rkte oder duroplastische Kunststoffe<\/strong><br \/>\nMaterialien wie GFK oder CFK bleiben auch unter W\u00e4rme formstabil, erzeugen aber feinen Staub und beanspruchen Werkzeuge st\u00e4rker. Bei h\u00e4rteren Kunststoffen oder bei gleichm\u00e4\u00dfigen Nuten liefern sie saubere Ergebnisse.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dreizahnfr\u00e4ser <\/strong>werden bei klassischen Kunststoffplatten seltener eingesetzt. Sie kommen vor allem auf Bearbeitungszentren mit viel Drehmoment und wenig Drehzahl zum Einsatz, etwa bei h\u00e4rteren Kunststoffen, bei denen ein ruhiger Lauf und gleichm\u00e4\u00dfiger Materialabtrag wichtiger sind als maximaler Spanraum.
