Speziell f\u00fcr dentale Restaurationen gelten h\u00f6chste Qualit\u00e4tsanforderungen. Doch kann man diese nur durch Fr\u00e4sen oder Schleifen erreichen? Schlie\u00dflich ist der 3D-Druck derzeit \u2013 auch in der Dentalbranche \u2013 sprichw\u00f6rtlich in aller Munde.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Bei der Auswahl der geeigneten Fertigungstechnologie \u2013 subtraktiv wie Fr\u00e4sen oder additiv wie Drucken \u2013 ist die Frage entscheidend, zu welchem Zweck eine Arbeit angefertigt wird.<\/strong> So bietet die Drucktechnologie etwa bei der Herstellung von Modellen und Bohrschablonen gewisse Vorteile, beispielsweise hinsichtlich Schnelligkeit oder Wirtschaftlichkeit. Wenn es aber bei permanenten Restaurationen um Langlebigkeit, Gesundheitsschutz, \u00c4sthetik, Materialvielfalt und Pr\u00e4zision geht, kann die Fr\u00e4stechnologie ihre St\u00e4rken voll Keramikwerkstoffe wie Lithiumdisilikat (beispielsweise das popul\u00e4re IPS e.max von Ivoclar) und Zirkonoxid enthalten keine organischen Bindemittel \u2013 ihr Keramikanteil liegt also bei ann\u00e4hernd 100 Prozent, somit ist das Material von Anfang an stabil und homogen. Dies f\u00fchrt zu einer hervorragenden dauerhaften Haltbarkeit und minimiert das Risiko von Materialerm\u00fcdung im Mund.<\/p>\n<p>Einige 3D-Druckmaterialien wurden ebenfalls f\u00fcr dauerhafte Restaurationen entwickelt und weisen mit \u00fcber 50 Prozent Gewichtsanteil einen vergleichsweise hohen Anteil an Keramikpartikeln auf. Ein erheblicher Teil des Materials besteht jedoch weiterhin aus Kunstharz, das dazu dient, die Schichten w\u00e4hrend des Druckprozesses zu verbinden. Kunstharz weist eine deutlich geringere Biegefestigkeit als Keramik auf, was sich auch in Zahlen zeigt: W\u00e4hrend eine gedruckte Krone aus Hybridharz etwa 80 bis 150 Megapascal erreicht, liegt gefr\u00e4stes Lithiumdisilikat bei rund 500 Megapascal. Zirkonoxid bringt es sogar auf 900 bis 1.200 Megapascal. Dies ist durch jahrzehntelangen Einsatz belegt und entsprechend zertifiziert. Da diese Materialien keine toxischen Reaktionen hervorrufen, besteht somit kein Risiko von sp\u00e4teren Entz\u00fcndungen oder allergischen Reaktionen. Die Nachbearbeitungsschritte beim Fr\u00e4sen beschr\u00e4nken sich auf Polieren oder Sintern, ohne weitere chemische Reaktionsprozesse.<\/p>\n<p>Die beim 3D-Druck verwendeten Kunstharzmaterialien enthalten oft giftige Chemikalien wie Acrylate und Isocyanate. W\u00e4hrend des Druckprozesses entstehen D\u00e4mpfe und Staub, die f\u00fcr die an der Herstellung der Restauration beteiligten Personen ein Gesundheitsrisiko darstellen k\u00f6nnen.\u00b2<\/p>\n<p>Gedruckte Restaurationen bleiben zudem giftig, wenn sie nicht richtig ausgeh\u00e4rtet sind. Ihr lichtoptisches Verhalten \u00e4hnelt dem nat\u00fcrlicher Zahnhartsubstanz \u2013 sie wirken lebendig und tiefenwirksam. Bei Zirkonoxid gibt es mehrschichtige Materialien, die unterschiedliche Farbabstufungen und Transparenzen vereinen. F\u00fcr hoch\u00e4sthetische Provisorien k\u00f6nnen mehrschichtige PMMAs verwendet werden, die Farbverl\u00e4ufe bereits integriert haben. Sie liefern ein ansprechendes Ergebnis mit h\u00f6herer Nat\u00fcrlichkeit als einfarbige Kunststoffe.<\/p>\n<p>Das Drucken von mehrschichtigen Kunstharzmaterialien ist hingegen nur mit komplexer und teurer Technologie m\u00f6glich, mit welcher dennoch keine vergleichbar hohe \u00c4sthetik wie bei fr\u00e4sbaren Materialien erzielt werden kann.\u2074 Bei der Herstellung von Provisorien und Bohrschablonen kann der Druck hingegen eine kosteng\u00fcnstige Option sein.
