Basic CAD/CAM Training for “Same-day” Restorations
This session will provide a condensed digital and analogue training experience which provides the knowledge and skills necessary to fabricate single-unit and/or small-span fixed partial bridges for same-day dentistry appointments.

- Training duration: 1 ½ days
- Location: on-site at the customer’s dental practice or laboratory
- Price: $5,990.00 MSRP (includes all course material and travel expenses)
Training objectives
- Create functional and esthetic digital designs using existing CAD software
- Utilize DENTALCAM and DENTALCNC software for nesting and milling
- Understand the differences in available CAD/CAM materials and their applications
- Learn the steps for post-processing milled restorations
- Finalize milled restorations through sintering, crystallizing, staining and glazing
- Perform user-maintenance protocols to keep your mill running optimally
Training prerequisites
- All software and hardware must be installed and functional prior to scheduling
- Maximum of 2 attendees should be identified and available for the duration of the training
- Training will cover basic Crown & Bridge workflows (single-unit or 3-unit bridges)
- No patient appointments should be scheduled for the training
- Training materials should be available prior to the training
- An existing workspace and equipment for post-processing needs to be available
Training equipment and materials
Training equipment and materials limited to the following products:
- Vita CAD/CAM blocks and stain and glaze materials
- Porcelain furnaces: Ivoclar Programat CS2 or Vita 6000M
- Sintering furnaces*: Ivoclar Programat S2 or CS6
*other furnaces acceptable but the customer is responsible for programming and usage
