Social Commitment at Christmas – vhf Donates to Tafel and Feeding America

Under the motto “Donations Instead of Gifts,” vhf camfacture AG is once again supporting Tafel, a German food bank organization, with a donation of €3,000 this year, while its US subsidiary vhf Inc. is contributing $1,500 to Feeding America. Even in challenging economic times, the company continues its tradition of making a Christmas donation – sending a strong message of humanity and social responsibility.

The Tafel Tübingen rescues food that would otherwise go to waste and distributes it to people in financial need. Currently, more than 1,400 customers are served each week – an enormous challenge that can only be met thanks to the dedication of around 180 volunteers. Tafel Tübingen is part of the umbrella organization Tafel Deutschland, which supports up to two million people annually through more than 2,000 distribution points – powered by over 60,000 volunteers.

Frank Benzinger, CEO of vhf camfacture AG, says: “Tafel demonstrates what lived solidarity means: with great commitment and passion, volunteers help people in difficult life situations. With our donation, we want to help ensure that this valuable work can continue.”

The American subsidiary vhf Inc. is supporting Feeding America, a network of over 200 food banks and approximately 60,000 distribution points that provides food to millions of people every year. Christoph Roeer, CEO of vhf Inc., adds: “Hunger is a global problem that we can only fight together. Our donation is a small step, but every contribution helps give people hope and a meal.”

With this initiative, vhf is taking a stand for sustainability and against food waste – and is once again consciously foregoing Christmas gifts for its business partners in 2025.
