vhf boosts efficiency in dental manufacturing – with award-winning digital solutions

Full transparency and a noticeable reduction in daily workload thanks to a high degree of automation: With the new vhf digital solutions – comprising CAM software, machine control software, and a central customer platform – vhf camfacture AG is fundamentally simplifying digital dental restoration manufacturing. By seamlessly connecting software and machines into an end-to-end workflow, the solution enables users to produce faster while always maintaining full visibility of machine status and productivity. For this achievement, vhf was honored with the German Innovation Award 2026.

The vhf digital solutions form an integrated system consisting of the dentalcam 9 CAM software, the dentalcnc 9 machine control software, and the central customer platform myvhf. All steps in digital dental restoration manufacturing are closely connected, enabling fast, continuous processes – from the imported design file to the milled restoration.

Greater efficiency in manufacturing
With dentalcam 9 and dentalcnc 9, vhf has specifically further developed key components of its digital solutions. The CAM software enhances speed and user experience, reducing machining times by up to 20 percent while offering a significantly more intuitive interface. At the same time, intelligent automation – such as in blank selection, nesting, and the positioning of support bars – takes over many previously manual steps. This increases process reliability and boosts throughput.

The dentalcnc 9 machine control software forms the foundation for stable manufacturing processes. It also serves as the technical basis for connecting machines to the customer platform myvhf. Compared to previous versions, it additionally allows to control multiple machines (multi-machine control).

Full transparency and control – with no additional software costs
The central component of the digital solutions is the new customer platform myvhf, which acts as a digital control center, consolidating all relevant data from a company’s vhf milling and grinding machines. Users can instantly see their machine productivity, monitor active jobs, and identify optimization potential – anytime and from anywhere, including on mobile devices. Thanks to remote monitoring, potential issues can be detected and resolved early before they impact operations. Maintenance notifications and training resources are also integrated, reducing coordination effort.

An additional advantage: the complete digital solutions package is included with the machine and can be used without any additional licensing costs. Within each version – such as dentalcam 9 – all updates are automatically provided free of charge, ensuring that users continuously benefit from improvements and new features.

Seamless workflows, significant added value
“Under the motto ‘Let your work flow!’, vhf digital solutions seamlessly bring together data, machines, and people in dental manufacturing. This enables more efficient workflows and frees up time for our users’ core business,” says Stefanie Ganz, Project Manager myvhf at vhf camfacture AG, summarizing the key benefits. As a result, users gain more time for value-creating activities – whether in dental practices, labs, or milling centers.

The jury of the German Innovation Award also emphasized that the solution digitally connects the entire workflow and provides full transparency regarding machine status, productivity, and maintenance at all times – ensuring greater efficiency and operational reliability in everyday work.

vhf digital solutions will be available for new machines starting June 29, 2026, and will also be offered as an upgrade for existing machines beginning in the fourth quarter of 2026.
