vhf sponsors youth football cup
Ammerbuch, July 08, 2015: On the weekend of June 27 and 28, 2015, TSV Altingen has organized the first vhf youth football cup sponsored by the vhf camfacture AG. There was a great response to it from participants as well as visitors.
64 teams in different age classes (8 to 13) competed on the ground of the TSV Altingen. The weather was almost constantly fine, a little break due to a short thunderstorm did not dampen the great mood.
The Saturday belonged to the players aged 10 to 13, the Sunday to those aged 8 and 9. Participants and visitors were optimally informed about the results during the whole tournament due to three TV screens, a presentation of the matches and interviews with the players.
Daniel Gaus from the vhf camfacture AG has presented the two victorious teams with their prize cups under big cheers on Sunday. In total, vhf has sponsored 5 challenge cups for the participating age classes, the medals and prize cups for the individual first to third places and finally two new goals.
The five victorious teams who were delighted to take over the vhf challenge cups:
- age-group 2003/2002 (D): SF Dusslingen
- age-group 2004 (E1): TV Gültstein
- age-group 2005 (E2): SF Gechingen
- age-group 2006 (F1): TSV Altingen
- age-group 2007 (F2): VfB Bodelshausen
Youth work in sports clubs is an important supplemental field of education for children and juveniles and supports social engagement and co-responsibility of young people.
